Greeting from Nona
Looking forward to working with and meeting you all!!!

Message 7:

Today is bowling day. Here is the message from Corey as a reminder:

Hey all-

The plans for the bowling party have been finalized. I hope you all will try your hardest to attend because it is going to be a rockin' good time. We will be meeting at the Science Library on Friday, September 26th at 5:00 p.m. Matt will be driving a Loyola van to Lincoln Square Lanes at approximately 5:20. We will have enough room for 15 people. Lincoln Square has put 4 lanes on reserve for us, and your first 2 games and shoe rental will be FREE. We have the lanes reserved until 8 p.m., and the van back to Loyola will be leaving around 8:30 p.m. I have included the address of Lincoln Square, just in case anyone would want to meet us there. We should be there by 6 p.m. I hope to see you all on Friday, when we can finally see who can make the biggest fool out of themselves.

LINCOLN SQUARE LANES
4874 N. LINCOLN AVE.
CHICAGO, IL 60625
(773) 561-8191

Apparently it is located on the 2nd floor of the building, above an ACE Hardware store.

Thanks,

Message 6:

I just got off the phone with the help desk. The reference desk's computer's days are numbered. The machine will soon be rejuvenated with a clean image after rehabilitation and an electronic labotomy. If you have any documents stored on the reference desk computer, I suggest you remove them very very soon.

Message 5:

If you notice from the schedule, it only goes through the end of next week. That is because we have yet another new addition to the team, Nona.

Currently, Nona is working at the Lewis Library and she has agreed to help us out as well.

Thanks Nona and welcome.

Steve

Message 4:

If you look closely at the reference schedule, you will notice a new name, Natalie.

She has graciously agreed to join our team. Like Erin, she is a senior that has worked at the Science Library for quite sometime.

Thank you and welcome Natalie

Message 3:

With Grace's resignation, we have a new schedule that has been emailed to everyone.

Steve

Message 2:

As many of you already know, Grace has resigned. She found a different job not affiliated with the univeristy that provides some level of tuition reimbursement as well as benefits. We wish her the best.

Steve

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be firing off several messages I think in quick succession. So here is message one.

I just realized that I forgot to mention to the new people that in order for people to see a message you post to the blog, you need to actually "post and publish" the message. Otherwise, it sits in my account waiting for me to publish it.

Because of my error, Erin's message written on September 22, didn't get "published" until today :(. Sorry.

Steve

Hi!
Just a heads up about the books on the refence cart. Those are not to be shelved. They are books from the list Grace complied of books that have been banned at one point that are to be used for the displayed. I highlighted them in red on the list so that the same books do not get searhed for twice. I didn't know where else to put them for now, so I put them there. Feel free to move them if they are in the way! Thanks - Erin
