When you come in on Wednesday please finish changing displays over for September (from July). I replaced the Insects display with Banned Books, and there is plenty of material in the file to replace Pyrotechnics with Latino American Heritage Month (display case straight back from the front door). Also, the poster of Sean Connery has been up at the base of the stairs for months, so it should probably be cycled out. The key is one of the many identical-seeming keys on the #5 ring in the box on the wall of Brenda's office. There's a yard-stick just inside Corey's door that works great for bracing the table-top cases open while you work on them.

Hello Everyone,

Kim, I'm glad you were able to post. I was getting a bit worried. With regards to the days you need off, please see if you can place those days on the tradeboard using WhenToWork.com. I know you tried before, but now the schedule should be up there.

If anyone wants to take Kim's shift please pick it up using WhenToWork from the tradeboard.

I also will be needing coverage for Friday September 10 from 1 to 5.

Hi All,

I've been trying to post this message for two weeks, but apparently the compose page won't work if you're using Mozilla. I typed this using Opera.

I have a family wedding to attend out of state over the weekend of October 2 and 3. Since I'd like to spend as much time visiting with my parents and other rarely-seen relatives as possible, I'm asking for a sub to cover my Sunday 1-5 shift on 10/3. Please let me know via the blog if you are willing and able to cover for me.
